In the aftermath of President Donald Trump's disastrous visit to Dayton, Ohio, and
El Paso, Texas, even long time Republican supporters are starting to question his leadership abilities. Conservative columnist David Brooks, called Trump a “Sociopath”, incapable of experiencing or showing empathy. Republican Congressman Joe Walsh, is now saying that he's deeply regretful and apologizes to the whole country, for his role in helping elect Donald Trump, an unfit “racial arsonist” and con man, for President. Even Trump's old pals at Fox News, anchorman Shepard Smith, and political analyst Brit Hume, have called Trump's racial attacks, xenophobic, counterfactual and politically stupid.
President Trump's incompetence and glaringly deficiency in even the most basic of common decencies, and total lack of any intellectual curiosty, has become more obvious to almost everyone the world over. Except for Donald Trump, who remains blissfully ignorant surrounded by enablers in a “Twitter Kingdom” spewing forth a daily barrage of political propaganda, nonsensical ramblings and conspiracy theories.
There were those that foolishly believed that the mantel of the Presidency would change Donald Trump for the better, but after more than 940 days in office, Trump remains a braggart and a blowhard. In true narcissistic fashion, Trump has a history of making idiotic, self-aggrandizing claims. Who can ever forget these golden nuggets: “With the exception of the late great Abraham Lincoln, I can be more Presidential than anyone who has ever held the office”, “I know more about ISIS than the Generals do, and there's nobody bigger or better at the military than I am”. So says the guy without even one minute of military service and in fact was issued 5 draft deferments. Instead of playing “Hail to the Chief” when Trump walks into the room, maybe we should cue the music from the “Looney Tunes”.
According to Trump, nobody knows more about technology, nobody knows more about infrastructure, nobody knows more about drones, nobody knows more about construction, nobody knows more about trade, nobody knows more about banks, nobody knows more about debt...(I'll give him that one since he's added more than a trillion dollars to the national deficit and has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy 6 times). Yet, after all these grandiose claims, Trump will very humbly tell you that the truth is, he's a very modest person, very modest.
Conservative Republican, Joe Walsh, the former Congressman from Illinois, recently had this to say about Donald Trump: “We need someone who will stand up, look the President in the eye and say, we've had enough of your indecency, we've had enough of your lies, your bullying, your cruelty, enough of your insults, your daily drama, your incitement, enough of the danger you place this country in every single day, we don't want and the country certainly can't stand four more years of Donald Trump”.
“Noise proves nothing, often a hen who has merely laid an egg, cackles as if she has laid an asteroid”...Mark Twain.
