Tanner Scott Brandenburg, age 30, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, located in Lexington, KY.
Born on September 25, 1988, Tanner was a graduate of Lee County High School (2006) and Regional Tennis Team Doubles Champion. A video game aficionado , YouTube watcher, and food lover, Tanner enjoyed life through laughter, friendship, and love. Tanner worked as a Data Transaction Operator with Conduent.
Along with his parents; Machelle Coomer of Beattyville, KY, Wendy Darling of Booneville, KY and James Brandenburg of Beattyville, KY, he is survived by 4 brothers; Blake Brandenburg of Phoenix, AZ, Joseph Elam, David Elam, and Jack Baker all of Booneville, KY, 1 sister; Ursula Green of Richmond, IN, grandparents; Anna Pauline Coomer, as well as Delbert and Nancy Brandenburg all of Beattyville, KY, great-grandmother; Myrtle Brandenburg of Beattyville, KY, aunts and uncles; Bobby ( Brenda) Coomer, James (Helen) Coomer, Donnie (Donna) Coomer, David Coomer, Stephen (Rebecca) Coomer, and Corey Brandenburg, special friends; Elizabeth Hoskins Madden, Chris and Megan Darling, Stephen Darling, Mikie Terry, Thomas Richter, Chris and Angie Fox, and James Bryan Carter. He leaves behind a host of other loving friends and family members, among whom a sibling-like bond was shared with Christina Clevanger of Irvine, KY.
He was preceded in death by grandfather; Thomas L. Coomer, grandmother; Rhoda Gould, uncle; Robbie Brandenburg, great-grandfather; Marcus Brandenburg, great-grandmother; Lucille Sawyer.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 8, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home with Rev. Scottie Brandenburg and Pastor Tommy Hall officiating.
