The damning testimony against Donald Trump, descended like a swarm of locust, leaving Republicans dazed, confused, bitter and very angry. Yet desperately clinging to every utterance of denial from the habitually lying lips of Donald J. Trump. Through the “Freedom of Information Act” we've now learned that Devin Nunes, the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committe, flew to Vienna, on the tax-payer's dime, to meet with the ousted Ukrainian Prosecutor Victor Shokin, for the sole purpose of digging up dirt on former Vice-President Joe Biden. Is it any wonder that Nunes, looks like a constipated Turkey Buzzard sitting on a ticking time bomb.

“Was there a quid pro quo, the answer is yes”. With those ten words U.S. Ambassador to the European Union, Gordon Sondland fired a shot heard around the world. Mr. Sondland, a Trump appointee went on to say that “It was no secret and everyone was in the loop”. That includes, the White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney, Secretary of Energy Rick Perry, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Trump's Personal Attorney Rudy Giuliani, and Vic-President Mike Pence. The illegal act of soliciting a foreign government to interfere in our elections was carried out at the express direction of President Donald Trump.

Somehow in Trump's busy schedule of napping, watching television and tweeting, he managed to spend almost an hour on the phone with Fox News. In a long rambling, absurd diatribe of lies and debunked conspiracy theories, he came off sounding like a reject from “Easy Rider” taking a bad trip on psychedelic mushrooms. Why has Mick Mulvaney refused to comply with a Congressional subpoena, why have Pence, Pompeo and Giuliani defied subpoenas, requesting the release of State department documents and phone records. Donald Trump once said that he refuses to testify under oath, because he fears of being tricked into lying. Why would honest men be so brazen in their attempts to cover up evidence if it could prove their innocence.

Yet so many people that espouse conservative Christian values, still ardently support and approve of all the vulgar antics of Donald Trump, including that Bulldog from Ohio, Congressman 'Little' Jimmy Jordan. I haven't seen this much boiling, volcanic anger since Bobby Knight was coaching Indiana basketball. Jordan doesn't ask questions in as much as he argumentatively spews out accusations in a feeble attempt to defend the indefensible. Brent Larkin, former editorial director of the Cleveland Plain Dealer wrote a no holds-barred op-ed calling Jordan, “the second most contemptible human being in the entire U.S. government next only to Donald Trump”.

There were 3 Articles of Impeachment against Richard Nixon: Obstruction of Justice - an act designed to delay, impede and obstruct the investigation. Abuse of Power – engaging in conduct violating the proper administration of justice and lawful inquiries. And Contempt of Congress – refusing to turn over material in response to Congressional subpoenas. Will those same 3 Articles of Impeachment be brought against Donald Trump, maybe.
