If you’ve been paying any attention to country music over the last few years, you know that songwriters hailing from our Old Kentucky Home have been blowing up the music scene.
Kentucky has given the world Tyler Childers, Dillon Carmichael, Chris Stapleton, Kelsey Waldon, and Sturgill Simpson to name a few as the list goes on.
This great state of ours doesn’t show any signs of slowing down in the music world anytime soon.
But the real reason you should be paying attentions is because of our very own Beattyville, Kentucky native Ian Noe.
This young man is about to go international if everything lines up right, which circumstances seem to be conspiring to do.
He is a folk-style songwriter that released a four-song EP in 2017 called "Off This Mountaintop."
Once the EP launched, Noe started touring, that included a European tour with Colter Wall, who is a highly acclained folk singer.
Ian Noe even got a shoutout on social media from "Aquaman" actor, Jason Momoa.
Noe just released a full-length debut album called "Between The Country" on May 31st, including a new version of his song “Irene,” that was on the 2017 EP.
Ian will be opening for Blackberry Smoke, John Prine, Son Volt, and Jamestown Revival this year.
If you like Tyler Childers, and Colter Wall, then you will definitely will want to hear Ian Noe. Besides, we know he has got to be good if he is from Beattyville! #beattyvilleproud
