Mercy Health – Marcum and Wallace Hospital joined the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) and other state/national rural stakeholders in celebrating National Rural Health Day on November 21, 2019.


If marijuana legalization still seems like a distant issue, something that’s happening out West or in Canada, it won’t be that way for long.  On January 1st, it will be as close as a drive across the Ohio River, thanks to Illinois’ decision to become the 11th state allowing adult recreational use.

Everyone around the world deserves to lead a life of dignity and opportunity. That’s why as we mark World AIDS Day on December 1st, I applaud Rep. Rogers for his leadership in fighting global health threats like AIDS, which still claims over 2,000 lives every day.
