Joseph Matthew Stallard, age 36, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019 at his residence in Richmond, KY.

Joseph was born June 22, 1983, in Lexington, KY, a son to Larry and Georgia Stallard. Joseph was a Civil Engineer employed by the Bluegrass Army Depot. Joseph served in the United States Army and was deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom where he earned several medals and ribbons. Joseph was a member of the Booneville First Baptist Church. 

Joseph is survived by his wife, Lindsey Howard Stallard; his parents, Larry and Georgia Stallard; 1 daughter, Rheagan Breanne Stallard of Jackson, KY; 2 sons, Matthew Hunter Stallard and Joseph Aaron Stallard both of Jackson, KY; 3 brothers, Micah Samuel Stallard, Nathan Daniel Stallard, both of Lexington, KY, and Samson Lee Stallard of Camargo, KY, along with many other loving family members and friends. 

Joseph was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mike and Olia White; paternal grandparents, Harley and Bunnie Stallard of Big Stone Gap, VA. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home, with Pastor J. Jamison Brunk officiating. Joseph will be laid to rest in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Owsley County. To leave the family a special message visit . The Booneville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. 

A Memorial Service will be held at the Bluegrass Army Depot Fitness Center, 431 Battlefield Hwy, Richmond, KY on Monday August 12, 2019 at 4:30.
