Frank Steppe, age 86, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at the St. Joseph Hospital of Mount Sterling, KY.
He was born May 2, 1933 in Jackson, KY, a son to the late Carl and Martha (Johnson) Steppe. He was a retired truck driver, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and in his free-time, he enjoyed coon hunting, and traveling.
Along with his wife; Deana Steppe of Mt. Sterling, KY, he is survived by 2 sons; Bryan (Amanda) Steppe of Winchester, KY, and Keith (Lindsey) Steppe of Salt Lick, KY, 5 daughters; JoAnn (Roy) Lovell of Lexington, KY, Jackie Steppe of Florida, Connie (Rick) Fromm of Lexington, KY, Kelly (Ryan) Stokes of Utah, and Kym (Scott) Matheny of Mt. Sterling, KY, 1 sister; Kay Combs of London, KY, 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Carl and Martha Steppe, 1 brother; Carl Steppe, and 4 sisters; Faye Hensley, Lexene Moore, Irene Green, and Lois Reynolds.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Latter-Day Saints of Owingsville, KY (1954 E. HWY 36 Owingsville, KY 40360). Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints of Owingsville, KY, with Bishop Jason Purdy officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Shepherds Memorial Cemetery located in Booneville, KY at 4:00 PM Saturday, September 28, 2019.
