3 Forks

The inmate that had been removed from the Three Forks Regional Jail passed away last Thursday evening due to Streptococcal Pneumonia Meningitis.  Another inmate was sent to the hospital and diagnosed with Bronchitis and transported back to the regional jail.  A guard was, also, sent to be tested, but did not actually have any symptoms according to the infection control nurse at the hospital. All of his tests came back negative.  It was concluded as an isolated case, according to Scott Lockard of the Kentucky River District Health Dept.
