Hazard Community and Technical College honored outstanding students during commencement on Saturday, May 11. Receiving the President’s Award were Steve Appleman of Campton and Renee Mata of Hazard.

Students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average were named Distinguished Scholars. Those Distinguished Scholars earning an Associate in Arts are: Braxton Slade Eiserman of Jackson, Sherilyn A. Kincaid of Hazard, Mickayla Dru Mason of Booneville, AJ Miller of Lost Creek, and Emily Ann Noble of Jackson
