The Generals finished the week 2-1 with victories over OBI and South Laurel, and a loss to North Laurel.

The Generals faced North Laurel on the road and fell 6-3. The Generals outhit the Jaguars 9 hits to 6, but North Laurel came up with two timely homeruns with runners on base that helped them extend their run total to 6. The Generals made a push for a comeback in the last inning but were unable to overcome the 6-3 deficit.

On Thursday the Generals were able to come up with a victory on the road against OBI 21-1 in 5 innings. Zander Elam notched his first homerun of the year as the Generals exploded for 13 hits and 21 runs. Nick Baldwin pitched 4 quality innings allowing 1 run on 2 hits, with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk. Blaine Miller closed out the game with 1 inning of relief surrendering no hits, with 1 walk, and 3 strikeouts. The Generals played solid defensively with only 1 defensive error to help secure the victory.

On Saturday, the Generals had an impressive win over South Laurel on the road who is the 4th ranked team in the 13th region. Zander Elam pitched a complete game shutout with the help of a solid defensive effort from the rest of the team who only had 1 error for the game. Elam only allowed 3 hits in the shutout. Offensively the Generals were led in hits by Dalton Combs who went 2-3 and was HBP reaching base 3 times during the game. Blaine Miller and Jyden Baldwin scored the runs that would secure the victory for the Generals with a final score of 2-0.

Monday the Generals traveled to Lynn Camp and were able to come away with a 20-9 victory. They fell to an early deficit being down 7-3 going into the 4th inning, but the Generals came to life in the 4th scoring 13 runs, and another 4 runs in the 5th. Kaleb Gentry and Blaine Miller were able to hold Lynn Camp in check on the mound.

The Generals are starting to click as the season is coming to a close and have won 5 of their last 6 games.The Generals will finish the week with a home game against Leslie County at 6:00, and on the road against Clay County on Thursday.
