Events will also be posted on Instagram and you can follow us there at visitjacksoncountyky. Just a few events coming up this summer is the 2019 Spring Funshow May 18th 5:00 P.M. at Gray Hawk Park. Weather forecast looks great and the saddle club is expecting a big turnout of some really nice horses. The saddle club will also be hosting several rides throughout the summer if you want to ride with them contact them via Facebook. The War Hammer 100 mile endurance will be coming through Jackson Co on the Sheltowee Trace on June 8th-9th. If you would like to help out at an aid station please contact tourism on Facebook or call 606-493-5604, some spots are still open. The Stringbean Memorial Bluegrass Festival will be held June 20-22 at the Stringbean Park in Gary Hawk. At this time we do not have firm dates on the Muncy Park Gospel singing. Fireworks will again be seen on July 06th over Jackson Co for Independence Day celebration. On Aug 10th, Jackson Co will be the host of the Kentucky Gravel Bike Championships, 60 mile bike race. The Bearded Man Music Festival returns in August to Foxtown. The library has several special dates and activities scheduled for the summer, stop by and check out everything happening there. Stop by and check out the wares at the Big Hill Welcome Center, open on the weekends. Currently RV camping sites with hookups and dump stations are being built at the Flat Lick Falls Park.
