Edgar Windell Combs, age 58 of Lost Creek, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019 at his residence.
Edgar was born on May 13, 1961 to the late Samuel and Clara Haddix Combs. He served in the National Guards from 1980-1989 and worked railroad construction for RJ Corman.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years: Sharon Neace Combs of Lost Creek, Kentucky; one daughter: Shonda (Justin) Bentley of Chavies, Kentucky; five grandchildren: Amber Combs, Destiny Combs, Kendra Collins, Reagan Bentley, and Ameila New; one great grandchild: Weston Noble; four brothers: Dean (Lillie) Clay of Clayhole, Kentucky; Ernest (Margaret) Combs of Clayhole, Kentucky; Arthur (Sue) Combs of Vancleve, Kentucky; and Anderson "AD" (Victoria) Combs of Jackson, Kentucky; a sister-in-law: Kathy Clay of Whick, Kentucky; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents Samuel and Clara Haddix Combs, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Combs and a brother, Pryce Clay.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Kentucky at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 with Pastor Bobby Collins and Brother Rocky Jett officiating. Edgar will be laid to rest in the Noble-Watts Cemetery at Lost Creek, Kentucky with Justin Bentley, Kenny Joe Neace, Jeremy Noble, Brandon Combs, Blaine Asher, and Derrick Combs serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit the funeral home at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.
