Obituary-Burton Harvey

Burton Harvey, 91, Hardshell passed away Monday, April 29, at the Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard. He was the widower of the late Charity Moore Harvey and the son of the late French and Adna Miller Harvey. He was also preceded in death by his first son, French James Harvey and his third son, Burt Harvey. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army 5th Regiment and then 3rd Regiment. He drove the troop carrier for General Patton's Cannonball Express Campaign. He worked 50 years as a virteous china modeler, then five years as a consultant, working until the age of 75. He is survived by his second son, Dale Harvey of Hardshell; grandson, David John Harvey and wife, Debra Ann of Russellville, IN; great grandson, Alastair Gene Harvey of Russellville, IN. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 8, at 12PM. Funeral will be Wednesday, May 8, at 5PM with Rev. Kerney Bouchard officiating. Military rites will be observed at the funeral home. Breathitt Funeral Home in charge.
