James Newsome, age 39, of Baker Hill Road (Manchester) was arrested March 13 on Sester Hollow when Deputies Cody Blackwell and Brandon Edwards were dispatched to a complaint of a mustang wrecked in a ditch. Newsome was very unsteady on his feet and showed signs of impairment and he failed standardized field sobriety tests according to Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson. Clay 911 confirmed Newsome had an active Laurel District warrant. He was transported to Advent Health Manchester where he refused a blood test.

• No Registration Plates
• Failure to Produce Insurance Card
• License to be in Possession
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court
