Twenty-eight people were indicted by the Clay Grand Jury with most of the charges being on theft and drugs.

-Wayne Cox, 42, was indicted on charges of fleeing or evading police 1st; fleeing or evading police 1st (on foot); receiving stolen property over $500; possession of a controlled substance 3rd; possession of a controlled substance 1st; tampering with physical evidence and criminal mischief 1st.  The charges are a result from a July 9th, 2019 incident.

-Troy Revis, 43, faces an indictment for speeding 20 mph over limit; giving officer false identifying information; theft of identity; failure to produce an insurance card and license not in possession.  This stems from a July 8, 2019 incident.

-Johnny Bishop, 46, was indicted for receiving stolen property over $500 when he took possession of a Polaris RZR on July 9, 2019.

-Samantha Collins faces charges of criminal possession of a forged instrument (three counts); forgery in the 3rd (two counts); criminal possession of forged instrument and forgery 1st degree.  On July 15, 2019, Collins allegedly wrote several forged checks she had in her possession for various amounts of money.

-Ronnie G. Burkhart, 40, Betty Burkhart, 38, Paul Michael Grubb, 40, Jamie Riley, 39, Michael Mullins, 38, were indicted for criminal mischief 2nd degree and theft by unlawful taking over $500 when they damaged a lift at a garage belonging to Danny Garrett on May 27, 2019.  Ronnie Burkhart, Grubb and Mullins were also indicted on possession of drug paraphernalia.  Ronnie Burkhart and Grubb face additional charges of possession of a controlled substance (meth).

-Travis Lovins, 24, was indicted for burglary 3rd degree and theft by unlawful taking over $500.  On May 7, 2019 he is accused of entering the garage of Sharon Lyttle and taking several items.

Lovins also faces burglary 2nd; criminal mischief 1st and theft by unlawful taking for breaking into the Refuge Worship Center.

-Sherman Hubbard, 32, faces charges of fleeing or evading police 1st; fleeing or evading police 1st (on foot); operating a motor vehicle under the influence fourth offense; ATV on public highway; no tail lamps on vehicle; failure to comply with helmet law; resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia over a May 8, 2019 incident.

-Amanda Grubb, 36, faces charges of theft by unlawful taking over $500 when she tried to exercise control over a 2006 Ford Econoline Van belonging to The Manchester Enterprise on June 12, 2019.

-Archie Higgenbothin, 30, Jerry Bonds, 39, Meghan Smith, 25 and Lucas Gibson, 38, were indicted for criminal complicity to commit burglary and theft by unlawful taking over $500 by unlawfully entering the home of Ronald Cottongim on June 3, 2019.  Gibson faces an additional charge of criminal facilitation as he allegedly provided the means of transportation.

-Roger Combs, 36, is charged with theft by unlawful taking over $500 and criminal complicity to trafficking in a controlled substance 1st.  Combs allegedly took control of a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer belonging to Anna Scoville on July 15, 2019.  He also allegedly aided Curtis Hatfield in taking the vehicle and exchanging it for methamphetamine.

-Curtis Hatfield, 43, is charged with theft by unlawful taking over $500 for taking a Chevy Trailblazer belonging to Anna Scoville.

-Ernest White, 37, was indicted for reckless driving; fail to improper signal; fleeing or evading police; menacing; resisting arrest; assault 3rd police officer; criminal mischief 3rd; wanton endangerment 2nd; terroristic threatening 3rd; disorderly conduct; TBUT or disp over $500; burglary 2nd and persistent felony offender.

-Lonnie Philpot, 41, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance 1st.

-Jimmy R. Hoskins, 23, was indicted for public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance 1st.

-Karen Treadway, 47, faces indictment charges of possession of controlled substance 1st; prescription drugs not in proper container.

-Eli Combs, 41, indicted for trafficking in a controlled substance 1st.

-Lester Smith, 45, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance 1st.

-Tony Dezarn, 39, was indicted for promoting contraband 1st; possession of a controlled substance 1st; persistent felony offender second degree.

-Tony Downey, 33, indicted for bail jumping.

-Martha Morris, 25, indicted for bail jumping.

-Candace Jones, 28, indicted for bail jumping.
