A woman accused of not rendering aid to child that had been burned was one of many indictments returned by the Clay grand jury.
Angela Guth, 42, was indicted on criminal abuse 1st and wanton endangerment 1st. The indictment stems from the case where a child in her care was burned as part of a viral ‘hot water challenge’ in June. The indictment accuses Guth of criminal abuse as a child staying at her home was burned. She faces the second charge accusing her of not seeking medical attention properly as the child suffered second degree burns.
-Eli Combs, 42, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance 1st, trafficking in a controlled substance and public intoxication. Combs is accused of possessing methamphetamine on July 17, 2019.
-James R. Jones, 37, faces indictment charges of criminal trespassing 1st, possession of a controlled substance 1st and public intoxication. Jones is accused of entering the home of Mollie Henson on May 20, 2019.
-Donald Henson, 43, was indicted for fleeing and evading police 1st and burglary 2nd. The indictment says Henson fled from police on August 5, 2019 after he and Eddie W. Sizemore, entered the home of Gayle Collins. Sizemore also was indicted for burglary 2nd.
-Leddie Roark, 25, was indicted for theft by unlawful taking when she allegedly took a .38 Smith and Wesson handgun from the possession of Robert Hacker.
-Shawna M. Wilmer, 50, is indicted on charges of operating a suspended or revoked operators license 1st, disorderly conduct 1st, possession of a controlled substance 1st and promoting contraband 1st.
-Kelsey Jones, 27, faces indictment charges of criminal mischief 2nd, criminal mischief 1st, operating a motor vehicle under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident. Jones is accused of intentionally sideswiping a vehicle belonging to Essie Smith on May 11, 2019. She is also accused of breaking out a window belonging to Lisa Wilson, then fleeing the scene while driving intoxicated.
-Jeremy D. Caldwell, 31, is indicted for operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, possession of marijuana less than eight ounces, trafficking in a controlled substance 1st and possession of a controlled substance 1st. The incident allegedly occurred on September 5.
-William D. Wolfe, 36, was indicted for theft by unlawful taking, criminal mischief 2nd, theft by failure to make required disposition of property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The incident allegedly took place on September 9, 2019 after Wolfe took control of a Toyota Corolla belonging to Christy Hornsby.
John Short, 43, faces indictment charges of burglary 2nd, theft by unlawful taking 2nd, terroristict threatening 3rd, burglary 2nd, theft by unlawful taking over $1,000. The incidents took place on March 26th and April 2nd when Short allegedly entered the home of Michelle Short, threatened to kill her and her family for contacting police and took several items valued at over $1,000.
-Frankie Carpenter, 38, was indicted for possession of drug paraphernalia, public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance 1st. The incident allegedly took place on August 22, 2019.
-Jordan Hubbard, 22, and Bobby Joe Grubb, 47, were indicted for burglary 3rd, theft by unlawful taking and criminal complicity to commit burglary 3rd over a July 29, 2019 incident where the two allegedly entered a garage belonging to Cassandra Hill and took items valued at over $1,000.
