The Clay County Grand Jury indicted 15 people on a variety of theft, drug and fleeing police charges this week.

-Donald Martin, 50, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance 1stdegree; possession of a controlled substance 2nddegree; and receiving stolen property over $500.  Martin allegedly had meth and suboxone in his possession on May 26th, 2019 along with a stolen ATV.  Also indicted with Martin was Gary Daniels, 32, for fleeing or evading police on foot during the arrest of Martin.

-Derek Osborne, 36, was indicted over a police chase that occurred on June 3, 2019.  Osborne faces charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence; resisting arrest; speeding 26 mph or more over speed limit; wanton endangerment 1stdegree, police officer; three counts of wanton endangerment 1stdegree, police officer; reckless driving; resisting arrest; fleeing or evading police auto, 1stdegree; fleeing or evading police, on foot, 1stdegree; menacing; improper lane usage.

-Travis Price, 39, was indicted over an incident that occurred on May 11, 2019 where he had drugs in his possession and ran from police.  He faces charges of trafficking in a controlled substance 1stdegree; public intoxication; fleeing or evading police on foot, 1stdegree; operating ATV on public roadway.

-Ray Wagers, 38, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance; public intoxication; and fleeing and evading police, on foot, 2nddegree over an April 27, 2019 incident.

-Brian Gibson, 38, allegedly shot a gun at the residence of Joseph Stevens with several people in the vicinity on April 11, 2019.  He was indicted on four counts of wanton endangerment and one count of public intoxication.

-Bobby Joe Grubb, Jr. 47, was indicted for theft by unlawful taking over $500; criminal mischief 2nd; burglary 2nd; burglary 3rd; persistent felony offender 2nddegree over a December 24, 2018 incident in the burglary of a residence belonging to Anthony Williams.

-Matthew Collett, 38, was indicted over a May 22, 2019 incident on charges of receiving stolen property over $500; fleeing or evading police, on foot, 1stdegree; failure to maintain insurance.

-John T. Sizemore, 21, was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance 1st; public intoxication; menacing; and disorderly conduct over an April 26, 2019 incident.

-Rodney Caudill, 33, and Charles Rodney Smith, 43, face indictment charges of criminal possession of forged instrument 2nd; and criminal complicity to commit theft by deception over stealing and forging a check belonging to Clay Emergency Restoration and Cleaning.

-Jamie Jordan, 32, was indicted for operating a motor vehicle under the influence-fourth or more offense; operating a motor vehicle while license revoked or suspended for DUI 2nd; possession of a controlled substance 1st; possession of controlled substance 3rd; resisting arrest and prescription not in proper container.

-Tommy Vaughn, 40, was indicted for theft by unlawful taking over $500 when he took possession of a 2003 Ford F150 belonging to James Hicks on May 22, 2019 on Ky. 11.  He is also charged with criminal mischief 1stdegree; and tampering with physical evidence.

-Billy J. Gilbert, 43, was indicted for burglary 2ndfor an incident that occurred at the home of Wilma Arnett on February 7, 2017.  He also faces charges of criminal mischief 1st; and criminal possession of a forged instrument 2nd.

-Michael Paul Collins, 26, was indicted for theft by unlawful taking over $500; theft of identity of another without consent; criminal possession of a forged instrument 2nd; forgery 2nd (two counts); and persistent felony offender 2nddegree.  Collins allegedly took a 2001 Grand Am belonging to Bennie Caudill on April 15, 2019. He also stole Caudill’s identity, according to the indictment.  He also allegedly wrote checks on Caudill’s account.
