Thirteen people face drug-related indictments returned by the Clay Grand jury, including a Leslie County man facing probable federal charges.
•Floyd Dean Begley, 41, of Leslie County, is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st; fraudulently use of an ID card or electronic code for benefits; fleeing or evading police on foot 1st degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Begley also faces charges in London and a raid on a residence last week found over 80 guns and thousands of dollars in cash belonging to him. Sources say they suspect the case will be taken over by federal authorities.
•Jennifer Howard, 39, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance 1st (meth) & (hydrocodone); possession of drug paraphernalia; promoting contraband; rear license plate not illuminated; license to be in possession; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs 1st.
•Larry G. Maxie, 59, and Jimmy Maxie, 48, faces charges of possession of a controlled substance 1st; drug paraphernalia buy/possess.
Larry Maxie faces additional charges of possession of marijuana and public intoxication. Jimmy Maxie faces a charge of failure on non-owner operator to maintain insurance; improper turn when he operated a motor vehicle and made an illegal turn onto White Street in Manchester.
•Stephen Jewell, 35, is charged with possession of controlled substance 1st two counts; prescription not in proper container (suboxone and meth).
•Charles R. Bekemeier, 46, was indicted for possession of controlled substance 1st degree (meth).
•Teresa Napier, 42, was indicted for possession of controlled substance, 1st degree (meth).
•Roy Jarvis, 41, is charged with trafficking a controlled substance 1st (meth); trafficking in a controlled substance 3rd (Lyrica); drug paraphernalia buy/poss; persistent felony offender 2nd.
•Lonnie Tyrone Philpot, 41 and Mary Truett, 48, are indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (meth). Truett faces an additional charge of public intoxication.
Philpot was also indicted for DUI suspended license; failure to produce an insurance card; license to be in possession.
•Bonnie England, 41, was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (meth); drug paraphernalia buy/possess; operating a motor vehicle under the influence and fleeing or evading police (auto) 1st degree.
•Laura Parsley, 42, trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree (oxycodone); trafficking in a controlled substance 2nd degree (suboxone); trafficking in a controlled substance 3rd degree (gabapentin).
•Jason Parsley, 36, is charged for aiding Larua Parsley in drug trafficking. He was indicted for criminal complicity to trafficking a controlled substance 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees.
