Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Detective Bryon Lawson along with Detective James Sizemore with assistance from the Sheriff’s office K-9 and other investigators charged six individuals off Paris Karr Road, approximately 10 miles South of London on Wednesday afternoon May 8, 2019 at approximately 1:11 PM. The six were charged while the Sheriff’s office was conducting an investigation in the area after receiving a drug complaint. At least one of the individuals attempted to flee from the Sheriff’s office but was captured nearby. The 6 arrested individuals were identified as:

  • Jillian Tripodo age 31 of Walden Ave., Corbin charged with public intoxication – controlled substances.
  • Bret A. Dixon age 28 of Dixon Dr., Corbin charged with fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot.
  • Jacob Mosgrove age 25 of Tiffany Ln., London charged on a Laurel Circuit Court indictment warrant of arrest charging trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition, the subject was charged on a Whitley District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle – first offense; contempt of court.
  • Dwight Osborne age 50 of Hicks Ln., London charged on a Whitley Circuit Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to comply regarding a charge of possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine.
  • Jeremy Clark age 37 of Rooks Branch Rd., London charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana. In addition, the subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Douglas Edmonson age 35 of Eaton Town Rd., Corbin charged on a Whitley Circuit Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to report for drug testing regarding charges of trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; tampering with physical evidence.
