Barbourville was in full bloom for the Redbud Spring Festival at the Knox County Extension Pavilion on Saturday, April 13.
The Redbud Spring Festival takes Knox Countians and visitors back to a simpler time in Appalachia where handmade arts and crafts, quilting, fresh food, storytelling, and local music were part of daily life.
Those attending had the opportunity to purchase the local handcrafted products and enjoy the sights and sounds of Appalachia.
According to Union College‘s website, The Kentucky Travel Industry Association named the festival one of Kentucky’s Top 10 Spring Festivals.
The Bluegrass Band, Chris Muncey and the Narrow Way, ended the night with live music flowing in the air as festival goers danced and enjoyed some Spring time fun.
