“At this point in our season,” said James Barrett, of the Knox County Farmers’ Market, “our producers have green beans, corn, tomatoes, okra, potatoes, honey, bread, cookies, pies, soaps, and wood art… just to name a few of the seasonal things.”

“It’s comforting to know where your food comes from and to support local farmers,” he added.

“What really makes the market a party, though, are our vendors;” he added, “they all bring such character and personality to the market. Just watching them interact with one another and with customers is a show.”
