James M. Dozier, 67, of Pineville, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at his home. He was born in Middlesboro, KY on March 17, 1952, a son of the late, Geraldine Claire Dozier. He had worked as a Health Care Provider at Britthaven and Pineville Community Hospital.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by sister, Peggy Dozier and brother Walter Harold Dozier.
Survivors include his wife, Vada Brummett Dozier; son and his wife, Chris and Tonia Dozier; daughter and her husband, Ashley and Adam Wilson; grandchildren, Greyson Dozier, Kade Smith, Jakob Smith, Chelsea Mullins and Olivia Wilson; brother, Ron Dozier; special sister-in-law, Amanda Miracle (Jimmy Mason); special nephews, Brandon Miracle and Pete Brummett; special great niece, McKenna Miracle and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 7:00 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. David King. Music will be by Linda Webb and Scott DeBusk.
Burial will be Thursday at 11:00 AM in the Bailey Blanton Cemetery at Wallins Creek. Pallbearers will be Chris Dozier, Adam Wilson, Kade Smith, Brandon Miracle, Jimmy Mason, Mark Bailey and Mitchell Williams. The family will meet at the Funeral Home at 10:00 AM to go in procession to the cemetery.
