On Thursday, May 16, 2019 members of Appalachia Narcotics Investigations executed search and arrest warrants in the Walls End area of Pineville. This case is a direct response to citizen complaints of possible drug activity in the area.

After several months of investigation, arrest warrants were obtained for 25 year old Timothy Marroquin of Middlesboro and 24 year old Lindsey Saylor of Pineville. Both were arrested on several counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st degree, Conspiracy to Traffic in a Controlled Substance, 1st and Engaging in Organized Crime – Criminal Syndicate. Marroquin is being held in the Bell County Detention Center on a combined total cash bond of $121,138. Saylor has no bond.

Approximately 12 ounces of suspected crystal meth, which has a street value of $33,000, was seized from the residence. Over $3,400 in cash and 2005 Infiniti was seized from the residence and individuals in the residence. Also found was marijuana, prescription pills, a pistol, ammunition and a bullet proof vest.

Upon execution of the search warrant, officers encountered 26 year old Aaron Skidmore of Ingram and 27 year old Michelle Violette of New Tazewell Tennessee. Mr. Skidmore was found to be in possession of crystal meth and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree, he was also served three outstanding warrants. Mrs. Violette was arrested on outstanding warrants.

This case is ongoing and more arrests will be made.

Appalachia Narcotics Investigations is a multi-agency narcotics investigative unit consisting of Detectives from the Harlan County Sheriff’s Office, Bell County Sheriff’s Office, Pineville Police Department and the Kentucky State Police.
