The Kentucky State Police and the Bell County Coroner's office are investigating the death of a Pineville man after his body was found in the Jenson community Thursday evening.
KSP troopers, Bell County EMS, and Bell County Deputy Coroner Jason Steele responded to a residence in Jenson Thursday evening after receiving a report of man found dead.
As most of the man's family was on scene, Deputy Coroner Jason Steele has identified the man as 48-year-old Darrell Cox of Pineville. Cox was pronounced deceased at the location and Mr. Steele states that he hasn't ruled anything out (in regard to the cause of death).
An autopsy has been ordered which will be take place at the State Medical Examiners Office in Frankfort on Friday.
This remains active death investigation with both the Bell County Coroner's Office and the Kentucky State Police.
