Richard Embry Coe, 62 of Stoney Fork passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 in the Blue Grass Care Navigators Hospice Center at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Lexington. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on September 21, 1957 and was the son of the late Richard Lynn Coe and Ola Mae Foley Martin. He had been a driver for Hinkle Contracting for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Osborne Coe.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Lisa Sizemore Coe; children, Richard E. “Richie” Coe and wife, Myra, Joseph E. “Joe” Coe and wife, Mary and Tabatha Calloway and husband, Steven; grandchildren, R.J. Coe, Caleb Coe, Abby Coe, Cadence Coe, Cheyenne Wilder, Carson Wilder, Harper Coe and Meredith Calloway; sister, Susan Coe; brother, Roger Coe; special friends, Leon Miracle, Raybon Lawson, Hershel Collett, his work family at Hinkle Contracting and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and so many more who loved him dearly.
Services were at 4:00 PM Saturday, January 4 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Wagner. Music was by Julie Wagner. Private cremation services are being held at the Arnett & Steele Cremation Center in Pineville.
